The Emmaus Leadership Series is a signature program of the Roche Center for Catholic Education. Since 2012, the Emmaus Series provides Catholic school leaders with executive-level training on systems thinking, sharpens connections between Catholic theology, educational theory, research, and professional practices, and fosters spiritual capital within an intentional Catholic community of faith and practice. Each year, through an application process, the Roche Center enrolls a cohort of 25-30 school leaders from across the country. During the two-year program, cohort members participate in 2 in-person multi-day retreats, 8 five-hour workshops, and 8 one-hour webinars. Through the cohort model, participants investigate the systems that inform decisions and introduce change ideas to enhance Catholic culture and improve the overall effectiveness of their schools.
