During Dr. Seuss Day, students from all three schools dressed up in quirky character outfits, adorned funky (Whoville-esque) hairstyles, and carried around their favorite Dr. Seuss books! Some kindergarteners and first graders had an especially fun time making hats from The Cat in the Hat, while other students wore Thing 1 and Thing 2 wigs; even teachers couldn’t escape from the festivities, as some wore crazy hats!
As some may know, the National Education Association (NEA) organizes the National Read Across America to promote literacy and present students to a vast array of writers. Dr. Seuss has been a well-loved author for many years, we are so happy to see TWIN-CS students commemorating his literary legacy.
