In 2019, WIDA will implement new instructional framework and is looking for educators involved in language learner education to provide input on structural changes to its program. You are welcomed to access the online forum, accessible from March 22nd to April 20th.
WIDA is a well-respected and trusted resource for language learners and language educators alike, constantly refining and updating its English Language Development Standards in order to provide the most effective and advanced academic language learning development and academic achievement. Through your input, WIDA can develop a 3-year implementation plan which will allow for better learning environments for both ELLs and ELL educators.
The TWIN-CS Community and the Roche Center for Catholic Education is not directly affiliated with WIDA, but recognizes that it is a tool used by many of the TWIN-CS principals and teachers. The online forum may be a chance to share their perspectives in a meaningful way.
Take the chance to have your voice heard! Join the online forum to draft and submit your desired changes to the program, and join the discussion on social media (#WIDAstandards).
