All Souls School

All Souls School opened its doors on September 19, 1921, with 53 students in grades 3 to 6. By 1924 there were over 300 students and the school conferred diplomas on the first graduating class that June. Much has happened since those early days. The parish and community have witnessed demographic changes, experienced significant cultural diversification, and grown through numerous economic developments.
All Souls School is the first Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to offer dual language immersion. In addition, it is the first school in the U.S. to offer two concurrent Dual Language Instruction tracks. For the 2012-2013 school year they accepted kindergarten and first grade students only. In the current school year, they have expanded into second grade. Instructed by credentialed and trained teachers, the young students at All Souls begin the process of becoming bilingual and biliterate in either English and Spanish or English and Mandarin. All Soul’s Dual Language Program intends to extend through the 5th grade.
